On Thursday, October 21st we met a very special person to Reagan, we met her mom! Mrs. Julie Roy came today to tell us about her job as the Executive Producer at WBTW-TV News Channel 13. She told us all about how her job includes many responsibilities from scheduling, reading scripts, writing stories, researching and interviewing! While at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, Mrs. Roy studied Broadcast News as a Communications Major. She has worked at many different news stations over her career and recently moved to Myrtle Beach to work for Channel 13. Mrs. Roy has been married for 15 years to Mr. Alan Roy. Together they have two children, Reagan and Rachel. In her spare time, Mrs. Roy enjoys going to the beach and being with her family. We enjoyed getting to know all about Mrs. Julie Roy today!
